AILET is an annual University entry level examination organised by the National Law University, Delhi. The NATIONAL LAW UNIVERSITY DELHI established in 2008 by Act No. 1 of 2008 is premier Law University in the capital city of India.

B.A.LL.B.(Hons.) [Five-Year Programme]
ELIGIBILITY:
Senior Secondary School Examination (10+2 System) or Equivalent Examination with 45% marks (40% in case of SC/ST/Persons with Disabilities). The candidates appearing for the 12th standard annual examination in 2021 are eligible to apply.
Total Seats: 110+10 (110 seats on AILET merit; 5 seats each for Foreign Nationals and OCI/PIO for direct admission on merit). Foreign Nationals/OCI/PIO are exempted from AILET, but should have 65% marks in the qualifying examination. Additional Supernumerary Seats: One seat for Kashmiri Migrants and Two seats for Residents of Jammu & Kashmir.

Mode of Examination
AILET 2021 Exam will be conducted in Offline or Pen-Paper based. Candidates will get 90 minutes to answer all objective type questions.
Number and Type of Questions
Candidates have to attempt a total of 150 MCQ type questions for B.A.LLB program and LLM entrance exam while PhD candidates have to attempt 100 MCQ based questions respectively.
Duration of Exam
A total of 90 minutes will be provided to attempt the question paper. Duration of the exam is same for all the courses concerned. The candidate should adhere to the given time limit and answer all the objective type questions.
Marking Scheme
Each correct question will carry 1 mark in AILET 2021 while for an incorrect answer the candidate will get 0.25 marks deducted.

Legal Aptitude- 35 MCQs
Logical Reasoning- 35 MCQs
Elementary Maths- 10 MCQs
